60 Years of PTA

Sparkling at Sixty – the three day’s extravaganza celebrating the Diamond Jubilee year of the Parent – Teacher Association of The Alexandra Girls’ English Institution was held on 27th, 28th and 29th April 2016, in the C. M. C. Hall of the School. The Board of Directors & Trustees, the P. T. A. members, the Auditors – M/s Nanubhai Desai & Co. and the School Staff were presented with a special silver plaque each. The Subordinate Staff members were also presented with a memento.

The Pre-Primary Kids gave a flowery and musical welcome to all. The Primary students presented a Bollywood Medley – a blend of the old and new and the Secondary pupils presented a full-length drama entitled, ‘Mom Xchange’ directed by our Speech & Drama teachers from Silly Point Productions. The On-Stage programme was well appreciated by one and all.
