• School Uniform – The school uniform consists of white shirt, red and white inter-woven checked pinafore, house colour belt at the waist, white socks with school’s initials, black shoes, house badge and school ID Card.

• P. Ed. Uniform – White Collared T-shirt with House colour trims and House coloured Skorts (skirt with shorts attached from inside) with white canvas shoes.

• Pre-Primary Section (Nursery, Lower K.G., Higher K.G.) – 8.40 a.m. – 12.00 noon
• Std. I to Std. X – 8.40 a.m. to 3.20 p.m.
• Half Day School – 8.40 a.m. – 12.00 noon (Not applicable for Pre-Primary Section)

Guiding was started in The Alexandra Girls’ English Institution on 1st September, 1924 and the 14th ‘A’ EAST Guide Company was officially registered at Headquarters on 6th July, 1927. The Registration Certificate was signed by the Founder of the Scout Movement, LORD ROBERT BADEN POWELL of Gilwell, a rare privilege indeed. The original framed certificate is proudly displayed in the school office.

The 14th ‘A’ East Guide Company has been actively functioning for the last 94 years. To date, it has the honour of having 53 President Guides who have received the highest award from the President of India. A few of these are now certified Guiders of the school companies.

As the number of guides increased, the 14th ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘E’, and ‘F’ East Guide Companies were introduced subsequently.

• Counselling

The school provides the facility of three student counsellors and psychotherapists with a special counselling room. Parents visit the counsellors (after taking prior appointment) if they feel their child needs special guidance and help. The students too, are allowed to visit the counsellors if they so desire, on their own.
